A Viciebsk resident Andrew Keshanyuk is convinced that against this monument, many ready to protest, and countrymen need to provide the opportunity to express its position. Call sign against the monument to Alexander Nevsky, who want to establish in the historic center of Viciebsk, Mr. Andrei posted on Facebook page "Viciebsk is free city! Municipal government!"

In mid-May, in numbers 15-19, with the study tour visited Belarus, the Polish delegation from Podlaskie under the leadership of the Polish ambassador in our country Konrad Pavlik. A visit to the Poles inflicted Miory region May 18th.

Sixteen year old resident of Viciebsk turned to the UN Committee on Human Rights with a complaint against the Republic of Belarus for violation of their rights, the human rights activist told BelaPAN Pavel Levinau (pictured), who assisted in the preparation of the complaint.

In late April, Viciebsk human rights activists Pavel Levin Leonid Svetik visited the Norwegian capital city Oslo, on a working visit. The inviting party addressed the human rights organization "Norwegian Helsinki Committee." The purpose of the visit – to familiarize with the experience of government agencies and non-governmental organizations for reception, adaptation and integration of foreign nationals who have requested asylum in Norway.

On May 24, members of the commission to perpetuate the memory of Fatherland Defenders and War Victims, established at the Viciebsk Regional Executive Committee, met with representatives of the "Chajsy" civil initiative. Citizens officials asked a dozen questions, but only few of them heard the distinct answers.
