In mid-May, in numbers 15-19, with the study tour visited Belarus, the Polish delegation from Podlaskie under the leadership of the Polish ambassador in our country Konrad Pavlik. A visit to the Poles inflicted Miory region May 18th.
The delegation was of 19 people, among them - to enter communes and the chairman of the Union of Rural Communes province, mayors of some cities and others. The interest in the visit of the Poles was on both sides, so there is no doubt in the future business cooperation.
During familiarization Miory regional executive committee chairman Igor Kuznetsov told the foreign guests about their land, its nature has not spared the theme of renewal of production. In addition, the head of the district hopes that the parties will have strong business cooperation in the future.
The Polish side in the person of Ambassador noted his satisfaction with the way in developing the region "diplomacy of local authorities", which can serve as a filling specifics. According to him, the Poles watching with interest what is happening in our country and want to find common ground in different areas, but first of all it concerns the economic and tourist.
During the visit, the neighbors drove through the streets of the district center, and on the square in memory of the fallen fighters Miory laid a wreath and fresh flowers to the monument to soldiers who died during the liberation of the region. With great interest the guests visited the stone column in Lavonpal, which is installed there in honor of the Constitution of the Commonwealth in 1791. The future of the memorial column was also touched on in the discussion of the Belarusian and Polish sides.
Following the visit of Igor Kuznetsov he stressed that Konrad Pavlik agreed on the financing of the Polish side works on the reconstruction of this column made Belarusians.
Also chairman of the executive committee reported that Poland is interested to organize together with the region processing fruits and vegetables, besides Poles showed interest in the Belarusian woodworking and lumber.
