Especially in recent times is very often warned me that my contract ends (both in words and actions: stop me advice on labor issues, which I, as the head of the museum, just had to decide). When I started talking about a contract extension, the director told me that until he decided, would be to think before June 30, I told her that I will participate in the parliamentary elections", – said Olga Damaskina.
According to her, the director said in a conversation that Olga "has long outgrown this museum level, to go up, and very good to the Parliament would be at least one person who knows the museum business."
"We parted on what she would think. But I work in the women's team, and I almost immediately, my colleagues told me that when I left, voiced guidance that renew the contract with me will not. And now in other museums teams have already started to walk some conversations and others already offer my space ", – said the activist of the movement "For Freedom".

"I love my job, a museum and want to work on. And my participation in the parliamentary elections would give the opportunity to publicly announce not only the problems of the country, the city, but also of museums and culture. Today we need to stop seeing museums simply as a place where the exhibits need to be centers of culture are stored generate cultural initiatives, calling for people to dialogue and thus not only raise national conscious person, but also affect the development of the cultural environment of the region" – said Olga Damaskina.
She stressed that went to get a second degree is to work in a museum, and specialists with the formation of almost no reserve in Połacak.
