Agro-eco-estate appeared on the basis of secondary school №2 in Tałačyn. In reality, this was due to the teacher Tamara Sushkova. It was she who won the competition to develop local initiatives by the United Nations and was awarded a grant for the implementation of this very initiative in the amount of 18 thousand dollars.
The basis of the project on the school grounds, as she told the teacher, became mass. In creating agro-eco-estate, by design, were open to all – teachers, students themselves, their parents, the district executive committee, municipal organizations, etc. As a result, all turned out very well: it was just an explosion of enthusiasm, the project brought together a great many, and can be. say, captured the city.
It should be noted that the implementation of the initiatives started is not quite from scratch, because the school had its own garden, recreation corners, sports facilities. And this is a lot.
In operation, according to Tamara Sushkova, it is firmly convinced that the project should be multifaceted. First and foremost, it should provide a lot of opportunities with the aim to train and educate the labor terms of school pupils. For greenhouses, beds, etc. – All this is fine, but first of all they need to encourage children to save the beauty of nature, to help them learn the basics of crop production, agricultural technology etc.
By the way, all the vegetables are grown on beds, will be directed straight to the school cafeteria. But too much, if it is, it was decided to sell in the market.
Although the project has already been implemented, the cooperation area and the United Nations on this does not stop. Tałačyn district receive a new grant. It will implement a regular program of social and cultural development. But it is specifically – the authorities have not yet decided.
Tamara Sushkova explained that the new grant money could go to the upgrading of the coast Druć for improvement for recreation rural home, lining the pedestrian route to the park, museum and city center. All of her suggestions have already been transferred to the executive committee.
