In the Vitebsk region 38 officials urban district executive committees and organizations of housing and communal services attracted to disciplinary action for violations during the privatization procedures. This was reported in the General Prosecutor's Office of Belarus.

"In the course of the Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with the departments of the Committee of State Control inspections found that in 2013-2014 local executive and administrative bodies of the privatization carried out more than 31 thousand houses, while not always be filled with current legislation", – explained in the department.

According to prosecutors, in Novopolotsk, as well as in Orsha, Liozno, Hlybokaje, Haradok and Polotsk district executive committee did not observe a month of consideration of applications of citizens on the privatization of residential premises. In addition, there are cases of incorrect determination of the value of properties to be privatized. In Vitebsk and many areas of the region allowed and misapplication of the overall index changes in the value of construction and installation works correctly applied the coefficients of consumer qualities of dwellings incorrectly determined the area to be privatized objects. Violations have resulted in overestimation as well as underestimation of the value of privatized dwellings citizens.

Polotsk installed episodes when the decision on the privatization of premises in residential homes, which are historical and cultural values, taken without signature by the Parties privatization of security commitments. In many areas, the decisions of local executive and administrative bodies of the privatization of housing were made without the necessary documents.

In Vitebsk, Novopolotsk and Vitebsk, Orsha and Polotsk district is not properly controlled, timely if received in the budget from privatization. The results of checks made 21 prosecutors idea and brought 20 protests against illegal decisions of the executive committees of the privatization of housing.
