A member of the CCP BPF Jan Dzyarzhautsau believes that the investigators leading the case on found in the woods near the village of Hayes human remains want to hide the truth from the public. That is the conclusion of party activists came after a meeting with the employee of the Investigative Committee Zoya Vysokikh.
Recall that in November last year, the Investigation Committee asked the members of the Conservative Christian Party – BPF Jan Dzyarzhautsau, Oleg Emelyanov, Sergei Kovalenko and Peter Sarapenya. Members of the opposition party are convinced that in the forest near Haythami in the 30s of the last century killed repressed Bolshevik authorities citizens BSSR.
Initially, the remains were brought to the scene of the crime, were investigated in the regional center. But due to the fact that local experts are not able to respond to set before them the Investigative Committee issues of the human skeletons were transferred to the capital for further forensic investigation.
In late January, Jan Dzyarzhautsau addressed in Vitebsk regional department of the Investigative Committee with a request to acquaint him with the results of medical and forensic examination found bone remains. The activist believes that the return to the village council remains should be buried in a Christian, so now cares to take an active part in the burial.
However, after the statement of Justice investigator Major Zoya Vysokikh that Jan Dzyarzhautsau and other applicants alleged by the applicants are not, because they are just bystanders, activist came to the conclusion that the investigation was deliberately want to hide the truth about the past from Vitebsk public. Statement is that the UK is not going to acquaint the public with the results of the examination, forcing Jan Derzhavtseva and other caring people to become more active.
Firstly, it was decided to convene a steering committee for the creation of public initiative "Hayes".
Second, apply to individual citizens and civil society organizations to support this initiative.
Third, invite representatives of various religious faiths Vitebsk hold prayers at the site of mass repression of Belarusian citizens.
Already held a meeting with representatives of the Catholic curia priest father Adam. Last acquainted with all materials relating to the case, and promised within a few days to give an official response on the proposals submitted by Jan Derzhavtsevym.
The same proposal was submitted to the Office of Vitebsk and the diocesan administration of the Orthodox Church. According to Jan Derzhavtseva to suggestions from the public in the historic section of the diocesan administration reacted with cordiality.
In addressing the representatives of religious denominations letters contained the following proposals:
– Perform services at the place of execution.
– Set the memorial crosses.
– Consult the authorities to establish a memorial in honor of the faithful, including representatives of the Catholic and Orthodox clergy, martyrs by the Stalinist regime.
Says Jan Dzyarzhautsau, meetings with representatives of the Catholic and Orthodox diocesan management had left a good impression, sense of mutual agreement on the issues raised and hope for a good cooperation in this worthy cause. After all, as social activists, and representatives of religious spiritual institutions are well aware of their civic and pastoral duty to past and future generations of Belarusian citizens.
