In Vitebsk, October 27 hosted a regional conference of the organizing committee of the "Belarusian Christian Democracy". It was attended by over 30 people from 12 district structures BCD Vitebsk region, as well as management of the organizing committee.

The conference assessed the activities of the members of the organizing committee in the course of the boycott campaign, analyzed the pros and cons of their actions, to discuss further action plan Vitsebsk activists, including through campaigns "Strong family - a strong Belarus" and "councils".

At the conclusion of the conference due to the increasing repression against activists BCD by authorities for acting on behalf of an unregistered organization (eg, registration of the KGB Oleg Aksenov) was the founding congress of the public organization "Christian Democrats Vitebsk". The meeting approved all the necessary documents that will be filed within a month to register the organization. These meetings are being planned in other regions of Belarus for the widest possible protection of members of the BCD.
