As part of the "Slavonic Bazaar" in the city over the Dźvina hosted an international Belarusian-Slovak Business Forum "Innovation – the way to successful integration", organized by the Viciebsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Belarus and the regional marketing center.
Among the participants of the business forum there were companies of the Viciebsk district: JSC "BelVitunifarm", "Viciebsk broiler poultry factory", "Rudakova", as well as representatives of the settlement Zvon-Hara, Zadubroŭje village council.
The main purpose of the forum – open dialogue of representatives of the national and regional authorities, the Slovak business, international organizations and financial institutions on the issues of mutually beneficial cooperation, the presentation of innovative projects and increase the social significance of entrepreneurship. Within the framework of intensive 3-day program included seminars, "round tables", matchmaking, the exhibition was organized visits to several enterprises Dvina region.
Opening the forum, chairman of the Viciebsk Oblast Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev appealed to its members as partners, noting that this meeting launched the activities of the business and cultural character. "We have no closed topics for discussion. We are ready to work together with you in the industry, has been sufficiently developed in the region, in particular, the production and processing of agricultural products, construction, petrochemicals, as well as in new areas that are being actively developed. We are talking about recycling, obtaining alternative energy, biotechnology," – said Vladimir Vladimirovich. He noted that work on innovative projects created a system of state support of investors and expressed his hope that the forum would be a good platform to get acquainted with companies in the region, share experiences and discuss cooperation options.
Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus Petr Arushanyants in an interview with reporters said that today the economic integration penetrates deeply into the business. This is true not only at the country level, but also regions. A similar forums promote the convergence of the economies at the level of individual companies and an increase in interest from international partners.
The forum was attended by over 40 representatives of the Slovak business. The main directions of activity – energy, wood processing, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, construction, ie, areas that are of interest to the Viciebsk region. According to the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic Alexey Sychev, a number of issues of cooperation is already in the stage of economic study, and this forum should contribute to making specific decisions.
"Viciebsk region, moreover, that he is interested in investments, loyal to investors and offers Slovak businessmen optimal conditions", – said the honorary consul and drew attention to the fact that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic Mr. Josef Migash recently in Belarus, but already in the 5th time he came to Viciebsk region. Visiting the region, he concluded that there are enough interesting projects for investment.
Ambassador himself admitted that he recently visited the Lepel district and convinced of the possibility of establishing there a promising agricultural enterprises for the production of marble meat. However, for the implementation of the project a lot of work to acquire pedigreed animals, certification. It is necessary to finalize the project to a real business plan and calculate everything in detail – on this focused Josef Migash. "Our Slavic soul need to supplement the normal Western pragmatism, and then it will be a success", – he stressed.
The first international forum heard common themes of cooperation: energy, wood and metal, furniture, etc., reminded the Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Viciebsk Oblast Executive Committee Konstantin Chorny. Now each potential Slovak investor, we are ready to bring to a particular enterprise, where all tell and show. "The Slovak side has remained an interest to participate in recycling, and this project we have, and they have a company – Mr. Konstantin said. – We also want to introduce the concept of building a complete Slovaks Biešankovičy HPP, it might seem attractive to them. There are points of contact in the field of roadside service and tourism, what is strong Slovak side. An interesting topic for discussion – woodworking. We can show the possibility of the production of wood products in Slovakia and want to know what our partners can add to the product to get together with whom you can go to the European markets."
Its investment projects presented at the forum Viciebsk region: the construction of a plant for the production and bottling of mineral water on the territory of JSC "Rudakovo", the creation of pharmaceutical production (JSC "BelVitunifarm"), the development of infrastructure based on the airport of Viciebsk, the construction of a biogas plant at JSC "Lipaŭcy" and, besides – land for the creation of agricultural enterprises and roadside service, tourist infrastructure. Economy department of the Viciebsk Regional Executive Committee appreciated design bureau "Display" for providing an interactive tablet that allowed detail to show the attractiveness of our offer to potential investors. Its products are put up for a tasting of "Viciebsk Broiler Poultry Factory" and "Rudakova" to get acquainted with the basic list of sought-after veterinary products – JSC "BelVitunifarm".
Today to the "Slavonic Bazaar in Viciebsk" Days were timed Slovakia. Guests of the Festival of Arts could become better acquainted with the culture of this country. In the cinema "Mir" hosted a recital of Slovak films in the Museum of Art – Exhibition Zuzana Rudavskii and on a farmstead "Slovak court" it was possible to taste the dishes of the national cuisine.
