Several members of the movement "For Freedom" and the Belarusian Popular Front party went on to Vitebsk with yellow and blue Ukrainian flag. Their journey began from the monument to Prince Algirdas and ended at the cross Euphrosyne Dvina on the coast near the Assumption Cathedral.

"On the way, no one will touch him, but after a while we noticed that we were accompanied by a strange man in civilian clothes and with a video camera. However, he did not approach us, does not interfere with light candles, lay flowers to the cross and to pray for peace in Ukraine and those who died for the independence of the fraternal Ukrainian people.
