Villagers of Vierchniaje in Hlybokaje district require leave their post office - only post office for a few neighboring villages. Collecting signatures for collective letters is an initiative activist of the campaign "Tell the Truth" Yaroslav Bernikovich .
Mr. Bernikovich is local resident. He recalls how two years ago, the official media in full conversion painted in Vierchniaje: "Our Vierchniaje called "agro-town", although the official government plans such was not. Since then, and made a sensation : that the inhabitants of the district administration and their own hands to transform the village agro. Listed achievements: repair the House of Culture, the kindergarten and the same post office, which is scheduled to close. This means that the villagers have to travel 12 kilometers to Hlybokaje, to receive the parcel to pay for the light and so on. So where is the vaunted "the social standards" if we agro-town, though homemade? And even if just a village - why scoff at people, most of them - already mature?"
In Vierchniaje about 300 people live, services, local post office and residents still enjoy six or seven surrounding villages. A couple of days a collective protest letter signed by more than 30 people - is more than 10% of the local population.
"We can collect 100 or 200 signatures - it's not a problem. After all, people are outraged by disrespect. When writing articles about Vierchniaje welcomed the initiative to establish an agro-town, the villagers were important people, the state supports the idea of strengthening the rural villages and farms. Then the bosses come here and talk to people. And now the authorities have to look like this way - through collective protest letters" - continues Jaroslav Bernikovich.
Letters against liquidation post office in Upper shipped Hlybokaje executive committee and head of the district communications hub.
The village, which two years ago was lauded as a "popular construction" agro-town, in 2014, to celebrate the 600 - year anniversary. But the celebration could get sad: Now here is going to close a post office, and the following year - a school that two weeks ago, celebrated its 50th anniversary...
Vierchniaje to not die, these objects need to save and spend more gas here and put asphalt, says Yaroslav Bernikovich. And so begins a campaign "Save the village". This is a campaign of the People, collective letters to the authorities - including the presidential administration. After all, the problem of preserving the viability of Vierchniaje villagers are very concerned, and they are willing to sign up to their appeals. And if a letter signed by more than 30 people, the district authorities should organize discussion of the problems on the spot.
