Following the Vitebsk regional head of the BPF Leanid Autuchou the police department was called his fellow party member Kastus Smolikau. There, as in the past and Autuchou, it drew up a report on the violation of the Law on Mass Media. Activists accuse that it exceeded the maximum number of party law bulletin "Magistrate", which they handed out April 22.
Under the law, the circulation of the periodical, if it is not registered by the authorities, can not be more than 299 copies. The activists do not know how many copies of the book at them confiscated during the arrest, because, according to them, at their ballots no one believed.
Recall, March 22 Leanid Autuchou and Kastus Smolikau handed out at the Vitebsk mall "Evikom" leaflets calling to come to the rally, timed to anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of Belarusian National Republic, and the bulletin "Magistrate". The activists were detained by police and later found guilty of violating the law on mass events and punished five-day detention.
