The situation in the labor market in Vorša has worsened since the spring protests. The city has become more unemployed than it was in early 2017. This was stated by the chairman of the Vorša organization of the REP trade union Alexander Bulavka.

"The situation, I will say frankly, because I myself control all this, even worse. There are more unemployed people. Seasonal work ends. The Decree on parasites comes into force, although we do not know what is there in it, since it has not been published yet. People will go even more to register – there is still no work."

Vorša in March was one of the most resonant protests against the decree on parasites. However, the situation does not improve, despite the promises of the government.
