Viktor Tsapota, former chairman of the Sianno District Executive Committee, was found guilty of abuse of authority and embezzlement by abuse of authority and sentenced to four years in prison in a strong-security prison with confiscation of property.

As the investigators found, in March-April 2012 Victor Tsapota concealed the technical damage to the official car, illegally ordered officials to purchase spare parts and repair the car for budgetary money. Also in August of the same year, he flew to Israel on a business trip, and although the flight was paid by the Israeli side, Tsapota indicated that he had allegedly paid for the flight himself, and received compensation.

Zapota headed the Sianno regional executive committee in 2011-2014, until about a year he headed the Tałačyn regional executive committee.
