In the first half of 2017, real disposable money income of the residents of the Viciebsk region amounted to only 97.2% of the level of the same period last year.

The largest share of incomes of households in Viciebsk oblast consists of wages (58.2%), pensions, scholarships and similar transfers to the population (28.8%), income from entrepreneurial and other income-generating activities (7.5%), and income from Property (5.5%), according to the Main Statistical Office of the Viciebsk region.

Real disposable cash income is the monetary income of the population, net of taxes, fees and fees, adjusted for the consumer price index for goods and services. As previously reported, according to statistics, by May 2017, food prices, compared with last year, increased by 7.4%, and services – by 8.4%.
