Coordinator of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party was summoned to the Viciebsk regional prosecutor's office to take explanations about her story, quoted on the website bchd.info. The activist said that the residents of Viciebsk told her that parents whose children are in high school number 38, took the receipts that they will vote in the presidential election of Alexander Lukashenko.
Once the information got to the site, it reprinted other media, and on some of the online resources of the article saw workers Pervomaisky district education department. They, in turn, appealed to the Regional Electoral Commission, interrogated before principals number 38 and number 12 – in the school, according to Tatiana Sevyarynets present at the parents' meeting warned that they will come to the polls and voted for Lukashenko.
According to Tatiana, the regional election commission appealed to the police and prosecutor's office to conduct an audit of these facts. This she told the committee chairman Dmitry Homa says activist:
"Now, I was summoned to the Viciebsk regional prosecutor's office, where I interviewed the prosecutor Marina Zaprudskaya. She was interested in the address of where people live, who told me about these facts. But I do say that I cannot because I do not remember. We are activists of the then another matter – collected signatures in a campaign of struggle for quality health care in Viciebsk. That's when one woman told me about "Receipts for Lukashenko" in school number 38. I was surprised, asked many times, but stood her companion. And then I consciously began to pay attention to the following facts about the elections because people are saying a lot. So I learned and that the 12th school parents spoke at the meeting about the need to vote for Lukashenko. With these facts, I myself wanted to go to the prosecutor's office, because the people I talked about this even on 8-9 September – even before the registration of candidates for the presidential elections. "
What's next, Tatiana Sevyarynets not know. What check is carried out in these schools, she was not told. However, it is hoped that the actions of the prosecutor's office will keep other school leaders from illegal acts. And it would be useful, as the organizing committee for creation of the BCD information from activists reach similar violations of the electoral legislation – for example, from Połacak, where the students of the University of Gdansk threatened reprimand for failing to appear at the polling stations.
