Acting chairman of the Mazalava rural executive committee Ekaterina Koroleva seeking a meeting with opposition activists, who in late April, was reported in the press about the new discoveries of human remains with signs of violent death in the woods near the village of Chajsy Vitebsk region.

The reason for the opposition to send the notifications to appear in the executive committee of the village began to materials he received from the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus. At a meeting with activists of the authorities intend to clarify the circumstances of the work of unauthorized excavation sites of alleged mass executions of civilians during the Stalinist repression in the 30s-50s of the last century.

Opposition reasonably believes that they want to be punished for what they urgently require the authorities to conduct investigation to establish the cause of death of people in the forest and who is guilty of death.

The Administrative Code contains an article 21.15, which deals with the violation of the order of the excavation. The law provides that the conduct of administrative proceedings under this article entrusted to the executive committees, including rural areas.

According to the dispositions of this article, if the excavations were carried out by individuals without the permission of the authorities, they established a penalty of an administrative fine of up to 1.8 million rubles.
