The upcoming presidential elections a real competitor to the current head of state may be only the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Sergei Gajdukevich convinced chairman of the Vitebsk region Sergey Ermykin. Mr. Sergey has kindly agreed to answer the questions of "Dialogue".

Sergey, please explain the position of your party in the upcoming presidential election?

It is necessary to go to the polls, we must fight. So far, so more in our ranks new members. Every year the party come somewhere around 200-400 new supporters. Our leader Sergei Gajdukevich enough recognizable for our electorate, so this is our candidate, we are not going to change.

To date, the Liberal Democratic Party is the largest in our country?

Belarus – yes. Let's face it, how it eats, over the years much has been done, there is something to see. Yes, at first it was hard, but it becomes easier and easier. I must say, we the electorate to their side a little over-tighten. If we talk about, the number of members of our party in the Republic of approaching 57 thousand. In the Vitebsk regional organization of the number exceeded 10 thousand members. Last year we opened Orsha excellent organization of the LDP. There are going to a very good team. Which segments of the population come to you in the party?

Are you saying that the party is funded by the nation's capital?

No, we are funding. Collect membership dues.

Well, I think some of dues is not enough.

If the content of a single office in Vitebsk costs us about six million rubles a month, apparently missing. In Orsha office, this month we open the same office in Polotsk. We are all the same offices. The Vitebsk region have everything in order. In Minsk, of course. Clearly, it is the center. So everything is in order.

That is, you will have a full-fledged election campaign in all stages of the election?

Yes, completely.

I can say, and the republic, no questions. The Vitebsk region, I'll tell you – seven people. The order was submitted nearly seventy commissions. But the fact is that this is not a power fault that we have not included. It's our fault – lack of funding. To go somewhere today from Vitebsk, say, Sharkovshchina, you know, it is necessary to bring the person to give him food, and we do it just can not right now. What can basically we ceiling – in Vitebsk, Orsha, Orsha district. Still, it is not small. Today it is a half-Vitebsk. We would also like to block Polotsk and Novopolotsk. For ourselves, we clearly understand that our candidate Gajdukevich very serious about elections.

Those of your people who have been in the commissions, because they also participated in the vote count. You have not performed a comparative analysis of the votes cast for your candidate in similar commissions, where your representatives or observers were absent?

No, it was not performed. But in the parliamentary elections were the county where we even won. This happened in Liozno district.

Tell me, among Belarusian parties you have allies with whom you work with?

You know how, and with whom to collaborate? That's only fair.

But with some parties, you must have similar positions. What are the priorities – in your political activities.

If you follow our activities, you should be aware of our priorities. Well, independence – this by itself. Can’t be a doubt in this matter. And then begin to say that our goal – union with Russia. Do not! Yes, we are – brothers, we are with Russia, but no more!

What kind of relationship do you have with Zhirinovsky's party?

We have contracts, we have all signed the agreement. But we have not only the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia relationship. We and the "United Russia" and the Russian Communists contract there. We deal with all. The only thing in Belarus today, frankly and honestly, and with whom to communicate?

Well, at least with the Belarusian Communists, with the same Kalyakin.

Well, the Communists Belarusian ... Yes, there is, do not argue. Kalyakin? First, let's start with that, and what he is a communist? We must speak openly and honestly. Is that a Communist? What could be the relationship, even when they have a party not registered? Explain to me. Here we take Minsk. Will not take Vitebsk. They have offices in the apartments. What we can say, if people want everything as something to hide, in a black way to move? People need to see you, the people you know. This does not mean that before you go out, you have to go and find fault with someone. Before you find fault, something has to be done by. Do you agree with me? To date, we have tested in tournaments: football, volleyball, basketball, shooting, skittles competition. We all participate. We have a lot of athletes, we have a lot of awards, we even Emergencies Minister awarded. We participate in competitions, and in the national clean-up. Come on, put. We do not ask, should I? And what is your party's position is different from the official position of power? After all, each party must be some kind of his face. It must be recognizable.

Of course, we do not agree with many things, we want a lot was wrong. Our position in the economy is somewhat different. It is necessary to lift the economy. That is why we are different, but that does not mean that we should with someone to fight. Or, as they say, people in the area of ??print and forward. And where do we? Square goes people. If out – so it's the people you need. And if people are not talking – then everything is fine. Or so we want some Maidan? We do not want, and we will not do it again in the life of the Maidan.

And you do not consider such a situation that, taking into account today's realities, Moscow, assume support your candidate?

We must clearly understand who goes to the place of the president. We have that option never considered Russia to us in some way to help. Russia today, we in no way helps. Russian watches – is yes. And so they helped us – there was such a thing. I think, and never will be. They will not help. If the fight – it is necessary to fight for themselves. We must be recognizable. It is necessary to fulfill the will of the people in the first place, and then when people see that you are the same as he did, then everything will be.

Explain how you feel about the position of those parties that previously refused to participate in the elections?

Tell me then, why they went to those elections, and to refuse these? I do not understand why they go. They go for grants. If Europe does not give money -So do not go to the polls, if will – it will go. So, where are we with you our Belarusian solidarity? And we all scream like that we – Belarusians for Belarus willing to break of any. Once the money has not given America – so we do not go. Give – let's go. Is this normal? We must fight, it is necessary to go anyway. If we do not fight, then what is? Then nothing to shout and pounding feet and hands waving nothing. Those elections because they went. Yes, the president of "collect" them to sign – and they're all gone. You collect! Yourself! We are always collected signatures themselves, and no we did not give them. And I know how much my area today to collect signatures. I will not lie. I know that we will collect 30,000 signatures in Vitebsk region. And if you do not go to the polls, then what? At the election you ought not to go for the money!

But some forecast for the choices you can make right now?

In principle, it is not secret, it can be seen with the naked eye: with Lukashenko today can be overcome only Gajdukevich. No one else. To be honest, no one else. Yes, two strong candidate.
