The training, which took place in the regional resource center for the development of additional adult education, organized by the organization "Christian community and young adults". The seminar was Olga Lukina, project manager of YMCA Belarus and the regional coordinator to strengthen the movement and project management YMCA Europe.
The training was intended for those who have the idea of the project, but there is no or little experience of its development. The main purpose of the event was to familiarize the participants with the basic knowledge in the field of writing social and socially significant projects, learning the correct formulation of the goals, objectives and the drafting of the budget. Besides Olga shared interesting stories of their educational and social practice.
The training aroused great interest on the part of citizens, as evidenced by not only the geography of the participants who came from different regions of Belarus, including from Pinsk, Hłybokaje, Połacak, but also a wide variety of their activities. There were representatives of both the local authorities, such as employees of the department of ideological work of Hłybokaje district and housing and communal services, as well as members of opposition groups - the movement "For Freedom" and "Solidarity".
According to the participants, the training was very useful, as it provided an opportunity to get advice on writing project proposals, communicate with colleagues and make new professional contacts and connections. Many wanted to continue their studies in this area, but on a more serious level.
