– The day before we started thinking how to visualize the expression "journalistic solidarity". And we decided that this will help us, "the newspaper men." To realize the idea was very simple, as many of you know a child's play – a chain of cut paper figures. But made of paper figures acquire a completely different meaning: firmly holding hands, they embody and friendly support, and professional mutual aid, and a willingness to confront everyone who would like to break the unity of our beliefs ... And then our newspaper men "came out" at a photo session: Each of our colleagues could take a picture of this chain anywhere in Viciebsk – on the street, in the park, on the banks of the Dvina, or in a cafe – said Elena Shabunya, one of the authors of the idea of action.
