In Šumilina district 104 persons held liable to return to the state money, which is in turn spent on the maintenance of their children in shelters. These figures were announced at the meeting of Coordination Council on the execution of the decree of Alyaksandr Lukashenka №18 regards additional measures for state protection of children whose families are dysfunctional.

Status dysfunctional families assigned to the relevant government authorities, noticing that something was wrong and confounding. They selected children from neglectful mothers and fathers and sent to a shelter for the content in which the parents have to pay the state.

Public expenditure is not compensated in full. From living in the vicinity of 104 parties liable average reimbursement of – just 38%.

To increase the percentage of replenishment, in the region take specific measures: 12 people get a job, of which four were more or less well-paid place. In addition, as explained Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Juvenile Lyudmila Gruznevich district executive committee, two families have returned children.

Fully compensate for the expenses of the state, only 20 people today, even with six being the repayment of debts, accrued current payments have not. Two more are now being sought. The others are not able to recover the costs in full or pay nothing at all.

During the meeting, participants also discussed possible options for increasing the salaries of employees who are obliged to, and examined the effectiveness of the treatment of alcohol dependence and trends in the LTP. Those present at the meeting agreed that the increase in salaries obligated parties is possible only with an increase in the volume of work and the proper monitoring of its implementation. With regard to alcoholism in families, it is the general view of participants, action to combat this phenomenon should be intensified.
