Mistrust and tension that hung in the air, soon spilled out: one of the sellers demanded my press card and threatened by the police if I did not stop to take photos and ask people. What was the reason for such a nervous reaction to the request to talk about the reasons for his return to the market – to speak clearly is not necessary.
This is my short chat with the traders of the Polotsk market, however, has not ended. Once I walked away from the small group of traders who rushed together to protect his girlfriend, a woman stopped me and started to blame that my report is one-sided and false. She said that the majority of businessmen and it including a job failed.
Taking into account the comments made in my address accusations, I invited her to share their concerns:
