Once a month on the project "Zabaulanki for Janka" will talk about something native Belarus - "Batlejka", "vycinanka", "kalychanka", "zabaulanki". Presentation of the project took place in Vitebsk on Sunday, October 27.
- You can say, the project was born spontaneously, - says one of the coordinators of "Zabaulanki" Svetlana Chekushka. - One of our girl students Ethnographic Society "Pounacz" a year ago, gave birth to a baby. And faced with a problem - very little information about what to sing lullabies to your child, what games to play with him, which "zabaulanki" talk to nurture it really in Belarusian. Thus was born the idea to collect the Belarusian children's folklore, organize and offer to young mothers.
The first lesson was a bit of everything - and the songs, and games, but the emphasis is on educating mothers about babywearing. And the story that the sling - this is not some kind of fashionable foreign "trick", and native Belarusian method. Only Belarusian peasant, of course, did not name the cloth in which they were babies slings. They are children in the "chustka" wore...
At the meeting came not only Belarusian-mom, but everyone who was interested in the idea. The youngest "participant" is about four months, but mostly gathered mothers with children older. Meetings will be held once a month. Will learn what and mums and kiddies - those who are older, know that Belarus is a self-made doll, " vytinanka", theater "Batlejka".
