Vitebsk defenders Paul Levinau and Peter Ivanov, who on August 29 was allowed to meet with Dr. Igor Postnov in Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center of Psychiatry and Addiction reported that the conditions of his detention in the hospital improved. Now Igor Postnov allowed to correspond, send and receive telegrams, letters, money orders, parcels and packages, to receive the transmission, use the telephone, receive visitors, and have to get the essentials, to use their own clothing.

The decision to restore the rights of Dr. Postnov was made after negotiations conducted by the human rights defenders with the hospital. The patient expressed his gratitude for the support of human rights defenders. According to Paul Levinau and Peter Ivanov, Igor Postnov cheerfully kept on attitude of medical staff complained, expressed only complaint about the forced insertion of the medication.
