Połacak businessman and public activist Gennady Berdenev, the police seized a tablet to check the signs of a criminal offense. Berdenev accused another businessman of publicly insulting the president in the social network Odnoklassniki. On May 4, the term for checking the presence of the crime in the actions of Gennady ends.

In the evening of April 24, police came to the apartment of an entrepreneur with the intention of conducting a search. This is the second search of the businessman for the spring months.

The first search was conducted on Berdenev's charge of involvement in the robbery of a savings bank in the Połacak district. As Mr. Gennady said, all these fake charges are aimed at limiting his travels to participate in Minsk rallies.

The second visit of the police was based on the statement of the vigilant citizen Sergei Kovalev, who, according to Gennady, specifically insulted him in the comments on the posts in social networks. Kovalev is also an entrepreneur and works in the Dvina market in Navapołacak. Other entrepreneurs describe him as a brawler, who often writes to the authorities with complaints about his business colleagues.

Such methods of harassment of social activists affect the psychological state of family and friends. During the search on April 24 in his apartment Gennady was his wife and grandson, who at this time had to be fed and bathed. The wife made a scandal because of the actions of the police, which gave an unexpected result – the police refused to conduct a second search, only photographed the situation in the apartment and seized the tablet.

A copy of the protocol for the removal of the tablet was not given to the policeman by Mr. Berdenev, nor did they provide a copy of the protocol of the first search.
