When we read a book on the Internet, view photos, or enjoy your favorite movies, you do not always think about what might violate someone's rights. In fact, each of the content in the network and each creation has a creator who has to his work copyrighted. And not always respected this right. That is the problem and the seminar was dedicated in Viciebsk.
Among the participants were not only professional writers (members of the Writers' Union), journalists, librarians, bloggers and ordinary citizens and Internet users who were interested in this topic. Organizers even show his surprisingly great interest on the part of people to a seemingly very professional theme.
At the beginning of the seminar, the Director of the Belarusian Internet Library "Kamunikat" Yaroslav Ivanyuk and he spoke about the activities of the network platform and unique works that can be read on it, and called for the cooperation of all writers and journalists writing on the Belarusian language.
And then the lawyer of the Union of Belarusian Writers Olga Semashko presented the original presentation in the form of the alphabet, each letter of which corresponded to a single slide with a specific concept or term, which begins on this letter i affect the copyright and the various nuances of this sphere. For example, the letter "A" – "Licensing," and, accordingly, considered licensing nuances; and the letter "M" – "Marrakech Agreement", which sets out a number of limitations and exceptions to copyright, binding, in the interests of the blind and visually impaired persons or other print disabilities information.
At the end of the workshop, participants were invited to take part in the consideration of the case titled "The ideal agreement". Its essence is that of properly composed the author's agreement to remove all the shortcomings and make their changes to eventually get the most correct contract from the point of view of common sense and the law.
