Deputy Head of the Administration of Railway area of Viciebsk Natalia Lepyoshkina banned defender Pavel Levinau hold two pickets.
Traditionally, a human rights activist said mass events in Viciebsk on December 10 because on this day 68 years ago, was proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Declaration was adopted by the UN General Assembly – an international organization, one of the priorities of which is the promotion of human rights and freedom of ideas.
However, Viciebsk officials seem to spit on the man, his rights and freedoms: for seven consecutive years they prohibit defender Levinau hold similar public events.
"The main objective is not held pickets were to assist the public institutions in strengthening and development of human rights, promotion of the documents in support of human rights and public expression of opinion on the issue of human rights violations," – bitterly regrets the human rights activist that public events have been banned.
But he was not going to give up and will vigorously pursue the authorities to change their attitude to the desire of citizens to exercise their constitutional right to hold mass events in Viciebsk.
