On the eve of the opening of another "Slavic Bazaar" in Viciebsk from the main park attractions for children were removed, and instead put the shopping pavilions with alcohol and uncomplicated snack for the guests of the festival.
Almost one month businessmen remain without profit, amusement operators without pay, and children – without your favorite entertainment. Indignant this situation the park workers complained to the local authorities.
Last year, at the request of the mayor of Viciebsk Winners park has been divided into two zones: the "adult" and "child." The first was allowed to put a few alcoholic beverages with tents, the second sale of alcoholic beverages was prohibited.
"During the festivities last year rides moved to the side and put on the green zone. Plenty of space, but in fact we are still standing next to the tents in which the alcohol is sold. This year, we were ordered to remove all attractions: now the city need the entire park, – said Sergey Shcherbakov, the operator of one of the attractions. – Instead of three cafes, they are planning to put about twenty. The order of the mayor is motivated by the fact that children do not have to look at how adults drink."
The area with attractions were trampolines, carousel, pools with balls, 5D-cinema...
"I appealed to the district executive committee and the region executive committee with a complaint, but I was told that they have every right to do so, as this condition is spelled out in the contract. It's true, they are reinsured and prescribed everything in advance, but what difference does it make? In addition, I have this month will not work and wages, and I cannot bring the children anywhere. We have and so the summer is short, when all the festivities – and the summer is over. "Slavic Bazaar" is a festival of arts. But there is no place for children" – afflicted father of many children.
Deputy Chairman of the Viciebsk city executive committee Peter Podgurskiy comment problematic situation declined.
