The verdict of the court of RUE "Viciebskenergo" pay the families of the deceased workers of the branch "Navapołacak CHP" to 20 thousand rubles, said Deputy Head of Department for Supervision over the execution of laws control of the Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor's Office of Viciebsk region Natalia Fedorenko.

Navapołacak Court recognized two senior officials of the company guilty on part 3 of article 306 of the Criminal Code. One of them was sentenced to a penalty of imprisonment for a term of 3 years and 6 months, the second – to 3 years. They are also deprived of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities. The sentence imposed on probation if the persons involved do not commit crimes for three and two years respectively. The court also decided to recover from "Viciebskenergo" as compensation for the families of the victims of 20 thousand rubles (200 million rubles to the denomination).

Two workers were fatally injured in September 2014 during repair work on the pipeline Navapołacak CHP. In violation of safety rules, resulting in the death of two and more persons convicted two people who worked at the time of the accident and to the chief of turbine shop foreman.
