Teachers and students of Semigallia School (Daugavpils region, Latvia) in July will attend Noŭka secondary school (Viciebsk region). Latvians decided to pay a visit to the Vitebsk region on the results of the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference in the framework of the appropriate instrument of long-term cooperation between the two educational institutions.
It will be a return visit Latvians. Noŭka delegation has already visited Semigallia, which has participated in the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the development of the creative potential of students through research activities. Each participant received from Daugavpils Territory Education Department head Irena Bulash certificate and prizes. During the visit was the exchange of experience between teachers of secondary schools on issues such as the organization of research, experimental and innovative activities in the educational institutions. In addition, in the framework of bilateral discussions Belarusian and Latvian teachers raised questions of the future of cross-border cooperation between the Latvian, Lithuanian and Belarusian parties.
This trip Noŭka delegation helped to expand international contacts, to attract new members as well as to learn how to organize marketing activities at the school.
The cultural program was prepared for the guests with Dźvina region. They were able to get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Latgale, its opportunities in tourism, regional studies and ecology.
