Chairman of the Viciebsk Oblast Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev dissatisfied with the work of local authorities with citizens. This head of the region said on May 14 to the end of the straight line with the inhabitants of the region.
The Governor stressed that several dozen voiced questions, only a few – really serious all the rest are caused by the formalism of the local authorities.
"Experts in the field do not work with the citizens, cannot really explain to applicants what to do to solve the problem, or reasonably explain why the issue cannot be resolved. This causes discontent and aggression of the applicants, who call the Executive Committee. Citizens are unhappy that do not receive the responses on the ground. This problem permeates our direct line ", – said Nikolay Sherstnev. He demanded that the chairmen of the executive committees and mayors tightened demand from professionals who work with citizens. Especially it concerns housing sector, which remains one of the most problematic.
I do not stay aside this problem during the last straight line. Residents complain of Viciebsk that is water, in one of the settlements of the Viciebsk district burst water pipe and water for a week already poured into housing developments, but in the opposite problem Čašniki district in the basement of an apartment building – in one of the settlements water shortages. The citizens complained that they themselves clean in the hallways and in their utility bills continue to bill for cleaning, we talked about faulty ventilation.
In discussing the problem of housing and communal services, the governor instructed to prepare a list of the most problematic buildings in Viciebsk (those whose residents often turn to straight lines), so that in the next week to visit the facilities in person.
In general, during the hotline with the chairman of the regional executive committee it was made about 30 calls. Residents of Viciebsk spoke about the problems with employment, asked to improve transport links with the new neighborhoods Medical Center, asked to identify other sites for individual construction (above obtained passes power lines that are going to carry, but it never did), interest in terms of the completion of the clinic and conditions of allocation permits in improving camp for orphans, appealed for assistance in obtaining housing in a hostel.
In addition to residents of the regional center on a straight line phoned citizens of Navapołacak city, Viciebsk, Čašniki, Hłybokaje, Dokšycy and Miory districts. The applicants complained about the bad roads, talked about the problems with the land, raised the privatization of housing and construction issues, the conversation was about improving the quality of trade services in rural settlements. Acutely sounded problem of settlement Suraž, Viciebsk district, which is divided by Dźvina in two parts. Bridge is not here, the ferry still does not work – and it involves great inconvenience for residents, as well as causing huge transport costs for farms that cultivate the fields on the two banks.
