Railway District Court of Viciebsk considered the complaint of the chief of the police department Pervomaisky Viciebsk police colonel Sergei Sorokin, the ruling chief of traffic police Internal Affairs of the Viciebsk Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Nazarko, issued March 23 this year – and leave the document intact, and the complaint – without satisfaction.
– In accordance with the decree, Sorokin Sergey Aleksandrovich brought to administrative liability under Part 1 of Article 18.16 (for driving in a drunken state) and 10 of the Article 18.14 (for the creation of an emergency). He was sentenced to 5 years of deprivation of a driver's license (3 years for "booze" at the wheel and 2 – for emergency – Ed.), As well as two violation a fine of 116 basic units – is 24,360,000 rubles. Sorokin appealed the decision, – said the representative of the Viciebsk regional court Natalia Platonenko.
The Court examined the complaint and the colonel left her unsatisfied. According to the judge, guilty Sorokin confirmed by the testimony of two witnesses – Arthur J. B. and Alina, who underwent interrogation using polygraph – in contrast, recall from Sorokin and his mother.
