The Navapołacak April 20 a meeting of civil society activists, providing gratuitous social services to residents of Połacak region. The initiator of the meeting was the Christian community of journalists and bloggers, PO "Christian Business Initiative".
The two-hour dialogue was attended by thirteen people from different social organizations. Representatives of churches, religious, charitable and community organizations that are engaged in social projects, talked about his experience working with the citizens of Belarus and the relationship with local authorities.
The moderator of the seminar was Anatoly Shyrvel, deputy editor Krynica.info portal. He said that such workshops were held in the different regions of Belarus, and the shared experience of various social practices from other regions.
Types of social service people are very diverse – from the collection and distribution of clothing the needy, used to work with the social shelters, with orphans and elderly citizens. In addition, in the Połacak region hosts public events against abortion, opposition to alcohol and drug abuse citizens, the provision of free legal assistance to needy citizens.
Navapołacak meeting was attended by representatives of the three religious organizations (church Christians Seventh-day Adventists, the Church of the Kingdom of God, the Belarusian Greek Catholic Church), a political organization (the organizing committee of the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy"), Połacak human rights group, the Free Trade Union of Belarus, public organization "Mothers against drugs" and social workers of the city hospital.
Workshop organizers promise that the whole experience of social service, collected in Belarus, will be analyzed and used in a special edition for a wide range of citizens. All people who want to join the charitable activities for the benefit of society, will be able to learn from the experiences of service and implement its social project.
