A reader of the newspaper "Naša Niva" from Viciebsk has sent a letter to the editor, which drew attention to the fact that in the Viciebsk Academy of Veterinary Medicine already two departments were awarded the title of "Golden Department of Russia". As in the Belarusian educational institution there may be other states of the department? "Naša Niva" sorted out and found out that this title – no more than a pseudoscientific fraud.
What is the "Golden Department of Russia"? This pseudo-scientific award, which is issued by the so-called "The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences". In 2013, this award was given to the Department of Animal Health, which was led by Vladimir Medvedski, and in 2012 the Department of Parasitology and parasitic diseases Viciebsk Veterinary Academy.
Then this department, as well as the entire Academy, led by Anton Yatusevich. A little earlier he had received from the same "Academy of Natural Sciences" a number of other awards: the title of "Honored Worker of Science and Education" and "Gold Medal. NI Vavilov".

But one thing to buy a fake titles and prizes for themselves. Another thing – to make out the award to the department. The question arises of whether government funds become that "Golden Department of Russia" in Viciebsk Academy?
We phoned up Mr. Anton Yatusevich who gave us "professorial honest word", that behind these awards, he had not paid a dime. He said, "we saw an ad on the site of the competition for the "Golden department", sent documents and won".
