People who have cottages near Viciebsk hydroelectric construction, do not stop their protests. The gardening association "Shipbuilder" held a meeting of those who disagree with the amount of compensation for the destruction of property.

"Shipbuilder" is located near the village of Ciaciorki, Viciebsk district. Back in May, the owners of country houses have received an official warning about the planned flooding their sites as a result of hydroelectric power stations, so they were prepared for demolition.

For the destruction of property owners to offer monetary compensation. But the size of people are not satisfied: the money is too small to buy a cottage in a similar location – close to town and on the waterfront. To all, in the "Shipbuilders" aware of the sad experience of neighboring horticultural society "Krynica" – already there demolished cottages. And the hosts counted compensation in dollar terms – but not at the current exchange rate, and by what it was at the time of evaluation.

Its owners claim cottages tried to present at the meeting, which had been forced to come to the representatives of the Viciebsk Regional Executive Committee, RUE "Viciebskenergo" Design Institute "Belgiprozem" and other services. But all the questions officials to respond and could not. It turned out that there is still a final draft is to be friendly environment, freed from the cottages. And the demolition deadline is not defined – "somewhere in February or March." The owners of summer cottages do not even know whether demolished all the buildings on their sites, or only partially. And very unhappy with the amount of compensation.

"Why do you keep talking about some kind of" selling "our property? We do not sell anything! We could sell a year or two, and three, have not yet agreed on a good price. Or maybe even presented to the cottage free of charge to anyone! Our cottages forcibly taken away – what then sell? So why not designate a price that would satisfy us, the hosts?" – Outraged a representative of "Shipbuilder" Valentina Vladimirovna.

The woman draws attention to the rudeness of officials, who did not want to discuss this issue with her in the offices. She even had to hear the threat: "If you are going to complain – so the price you get!"

Also prices in the "Shipbuilder" concerned will be taken into consideration currency devaluation. The cost of cottages on the valuation date and the time of payment may differ significantly, as the reality. Would it be considered a responsible person cannot say with absolute certainty. And to back up their promises any document refused too. Therefore owners of dachas openly say:

"Because we do force sponsors construction of power plants, reducing the value of the property for which you have to pay from the budget."

In general, claims to those who represent "the direction of the demolition," the owners of dachas plucked whole list. However, to answer to the people at the meeting the officials did not want to. After hearing a lot of disapproving words, deputy chairman of the Viciebsk Regional Executive Committee Paul Shikshnyan he proposed communicate individually: to experts went on site, and the hosts ask questions privately.

Many questions concerned the method of valuation of homes. He was a comparative: determined prices, focused on the prices of other villas that were built not in such convenient places for recreation.

Gulev Alexander says that he refused to buyers who offered him 9000 dollars, and now the state takes it home to other buildings for 6000 with something:

"I am very unhappy with the demolition! You see, what a place! It acquired – we are living 40 years, our fathers are buried in the local cemetery. And now I get a quotation. And it strikes me that my site is estimated in comparison with the company in the areas of Akciabryski or Sialuty. How can this be compared? Compare with patches on the Dniapro, on the Sož, on Lake Łośvida! Why people do not move, issuing plots in the same place, why do not we rebuild new homes for these rates, which they defined? We have the same social-oriented state? And we demolished – as if fists some dekulakize. Of course, the state need electricity and we need it. But why is it so unfair? All unhappy, and it is unclear whether even a peg to the dollar. We are struggling to sum was for the dollar at the time of payment. But no one promises, there are no documents. And what does all officials cannot consider it in advance? We once again can just quit!"

The owners of summer cottages are fighting for every meter plots: if the place on the bank of the above, it cannot endure, and to rearrange the house. Defend every tree on their territory. In "Shipbuilder" has a local feature: there is a summer residence Gorbovsky Gleb – Russian poet, author of the famous Soviet hit "Pink Elephant" and "Dad, give me the doll". His successor, his nephew Adrian Fomin proposed an original way to keep the building as a cultural object, and at their own expense:

"If the decision on the demolition and compensation, please consider the possibility of transferring the house to temporary storage – for our money. To then move and set it on a pontoon on the Dvina, for our money."

To make this a reality, already found a sponsor. But officials and representatives of the authorities simply confused, not knowing what to say.

Constructive stated generally very little, says local leader of citizens who disagree with the demolition, Vladimir Gushchenko. He notes that the solution to the main issue – the cost of binding to the dollar, taking into account the devaluation of the date of payment – the meeting has not resulted in:

"The meeting – no, not led. Orally, verbally or executive committee or experts cannot be trusted. So sue. There will be a written decision – as it should pay compensation. And then we have to talk about it in May, and we meet again – so again – otherwise: we are right, you are wrong ... Until the documents, we will keep it under control. And if this is not adhered to, then people simply will leave the houses. Old men, women, middle-aged people, young people who wrote to Lukashenko – they are already in February even live in these houses, to control the situation."

On the opposite of the "Shipbuilder" bank of the Dvina, too, have protestors – villagers Barvin Pieravoz. Here for demolition "doomed" most of the houses, and the "land confiscated for public use", as stated in the documents. At this point, RUE "Viciebskenergo" is going to make a beach and recreation area around an artificial pond that is formed after the construction of hydroelectric power plants. But will remain intact, "Viciebsk Rublevka" – the village of expensive cottages.
