The destruction of trees in the station square of Połacak suspended. On October 27 cut down a single tree of four sentenced to destruction. Połacak local authorities in response to complaints held a meeting with the townspeople on site reconstruction of the park. Połacak residents who do not agree with the explanation of the authorities and the progress of work, again filed a complaint to the presidential administration.

The meeting held in the park on October 14 deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Mikhalevich. The meeting was attended by representatives of the builders and Regional Committee for Environmental Protection of Viciebsk and Navapołacak. Officials claimed that they minimized the destruction of trees up to four (at the beginning of the reconstruction of the park planned to cut 18 trees).

Builders are waiting for reconciliation

Head of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Kogalenok Irina E. stated that additional approvals for cutting of trees is not necessary. However, after meeting for two weeks the trees are still intact.
