In a letter signed by Lilia Ananich said the identified site "violations of the law on mass media" and reminded of the possibility of a written notice to the owner or the resource block.
A similar message was received at about the same time, the site "Belarusian Radio Ratsya" music portal "Tuzin Hitoŭ" ("A dozen hits"), The United Civil Party (UCP) ucpb.org and online magazine kyky.org. Some have mistakenly interpreted this as written warnings, but the letters were at the time only "declaration of intent".
