The representative of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee in Vitebsk Pavel Levinau received a reply from the regional police on the street distributors Soviet flags.

"It says that for checking my statement forwarded to the district police at the place where the incident occurred. I asked the head of the regional police to take control of this situation. However, based on the response, I realized that in the control does not take" – said Levinau.

Recall that in early April on the internet sold information about distributor Soviet flags in Vitebsk. In particular, he has photographed such Levinau activists on the street Tereshkova. Also popular among Internet users used the story of a motorist who knocked out his teeth one of the "deaf and dumb" distributors, who offered him a Soviet and Russian flags. Levinau draws an analogy with the Ukrainian events. In Crimea, the Donetsk Basin and in the central part of Ukraine before the war actively distributed Soviet and Russian flags. The same actions in Belarus, according to a human rights activist, are potentially dangerous.

"Some people need it purposefully. This is not a fool running around Belarus and something gives. This is a planned event. Blinked and is still certain points, we can run blinked sovereignty" – expresses an opinion Levinau.
