In the Belarusian democratic trade unions has been a recent intensification of women. "Women's Network" regularly organizes training seminars for workers who are in Belarusian independent trade union. In Novapolatsk last such seminar was held on January 24 where workers were discussing changes in labor legislation, and how they may affect the specifics of female labor.
Nina Turchin said that discussion topics suggest themselves workers. Conducted training workers how to behave when dealing with the boss, how to conduct collective bargaining with the employer, and even how to communicate in the family with their children. Workers raise issues of pay and working conditions specific to women - all these problems are lobbied through the collective agreement. All work "Women's Network" is reflected in the printed annex to the trade union newspaper "Women's View", which is published every two months.
The independent trade union "Naftan" has its office at the entrance of production "Polimir." The office is constantly trade union activities: it is preparing to release a union newsletter, then consult a lawyer for the union members, then deal with any problems of a particular employee.
