January 30 members of the NGO "Belarusian Association of Journalists" met together to discuss a wide range of problems. Colleagues talked about aspects of NGO interaction with local authorities about the features of the journalists that have appeared due to changes in the law on the media, on the long-term plans of activity in 2015. Leonid Gorovoj, member of the Belarusian Association of Journalists of the district center of town, which is also an expert NGO "Local government and society," presented present the results of monitoring assessment participation of NGOs and the public in decision-making by local authorities. On the example of Vitebsk, Orsha and Postavsky areas he spoke about the difficulties faced by citizens, including journalists, when trying to attract the attention of local authorities to solve specific problems.
