Ended the year 2014 and started 2015 d. Chairman of the organizing group of the Belarusian Trade Union "Together", a member of the UCP Irina Yaskevich kindly agreed to take stock of the year that went away, and to evaluate the possibility of the development of small business in Belarus in the New Year.
- From the beginning of 2014 was for us, entrepreneurs, fairly simple. After all, the state has created problems for us on the technical regulations and documents. Ended the year even more sad: the currency has risen by 30%, has risen by 30% and purchase of goods, and we, like all citizens, to buy all the light of this price increase.
Given the above, with high probability it can be argued that since January of entrepreneurs simply leave the market. Sell goods impoverished customers become impossible. After all, the public salaries by 30%, no one will raise. And sell to its detriment or simply no profit no one will.
In addition, we understand that in the near future will necessarily be raised and taxes that primarily affect those who trade in small quantities at retail.
This situation will increase the ranks of the unemployed and an increase in the incidence of depression among people for whom the future has become a mirage. But we can not live on a promise. We need to feed their families, educate their children, to finish building the apartments ... So the mood in the New Year, we have no good thing.
Urban markets are almost empty. This New Year's trade in my memory was not. The situation is almost a stalemate.
In such circumstances, we are not talking about profit, which initially declined due to the difference in our legal framework and in Russia, where authorities have given certain benefits to business, so-called "eight-year vacation" - the time period during which the government froze taxes and introduced still a number of preferences for small businesses. And there, too, product certification is not necessary. In connection with the recent events as part of a quality product because of its high cost generally will be available for local buyers, so as to deliver it becomes meaningless.
We believe that once we have a common economic space with Russia, then we would be arranged and there exists regarding the legal framework of entrepreneurship. Unlike us, in the neighboring state understands that small business owners themselves create their own jobs themselves pay all costs associated with the conduct of its business, do not stand on the exchanges, and ask nothing from the state, except for reasonable legislative policy against them.
And the market, it is the fact and the market: compete if you can. And if you can’t - clean up at his home, his country, just understand why businesses run out of stock, why products that are produced here, is unprofitable. While we must pay tribute: Government officials have also become entrepreneurs - from the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of Finance. I'm not talking about all sorts of there "Sports Lottery" ... After leaving the purchase of goods in Russia, we see the local officials, who are happy to buy things there.
And I want to say: I fundamentally disagree with the fact that we are "thieves" and "thieves." Here we need a long time to learn from the state, and especially after the introduction of the tax on the purchase of foreign currency. After all, we have put in tough conditions, and their example shows unacceptable for us the means of survival, and the situation of economic equilibrium fragile than ever.
But in spite of everything, we decided for ourselves: to celebrate New Year quietly and wait for the common single economic zone of documents that should be acceptable not only for Russian business, but also for us. Although all that we have going on, do not fit in the head. And given the fact that the Russian forecast at the two-year crisis, I believe that only 20-30 percent of the entrepreneurs who are more or less stand firmly on their feet, will be able to survive the current crisis. In general, in this respect, to be envied bears who are experiencing difficult times in hibernation waiting for spring sun. Unfortunately, entrepreneurs can’t be like cubs and wait for better times, wait for the sun. Now it is difficult to predict how much time we have to be in this uncertain conserved state, but in the New Year I want to believe in the best.
