It turned out that on December 20 Pervomaisky district court judge Vitebsk Andrew Preis decided to recover from the activist 1,500 million rubles (10 basic units) for contempt of court (Article 24.1 of the Administrative Code). Moreover, the hearing at which the decision was made, was held without the participation of the accused in the offense.
"In the hearing P.E. Ivanov was not being properly notified of the date and time of the trial directly in the preparation of the administrative offense," - said in a ruling handed down by the judge Preis. Pyotr Ivanov himself asserts that the date and time of the court it was not reported, and it was done intentionally:
"Firstly, the protocol was compiled in my absence, as it is known to the court. Second, the protocol on administrative violation has been brought to me without informing the date and time of the trial. Third, another tribunal specially passed without my notice, in order to prevent the survey in the hearing of witnesses - witnesses of the event, as well as to deprive me of the opportunity to give an explanation, exposing the criminal court tyranny."
Report on administrative offense, under which punished activist, was Judge Natalia Korablina December 15th. The day was held the first meeting of the administrative proceedings under Article 17.1 of the Administrative Code (petty hooliganism), consideration of which was completed on December 23. As a result of the court, recall, Pyotr Ivanov was sentenced to a fine of 25 basic units, were also fined Alexander Kholod (25 basic units) and Peter Berlinov (10 basic units).
