Representatives of a number of opposition forces called for the opening of the Viciebsk public reception for the citizens who have fallen under the Decree #3.
On February 14 in Viciebsk a meeting of regional leaders of the United Civil Party, the Party "Fair World", the trade union of radio-electronic industry (REP) and the Free Trade Union of Metalworkers. The meeting discussed the possibility of opening a public reception for the citizens enrolled in the category of parasites.
Due to the fact that the decree #3 aroused considerable public outcry, and the problem of payment of the tax unconstitutional touched a huge number of people, it was decided to discuss the possibility of response of local opposition to the social processes caused by the adoption of the decree. During the discussion it was suggested that the situation requires the participation of the entire spectrum of political parties and independent trade unions, without regard to political affiliation and partisan differences.
In particular, Nicholas Selivashko, chairman of the regional organization of the Party "Fair World", stressed that now is the case, when the power of their inept actions contribute to the unification of all opposition forces. And this is the problem, part of the solution which contributes to their solidarity. In this regard, the obvious need to cancel the decree #3 increasing importance of participation of the opposition in the pressure on the government process and contributes to the acquisition of authority in the eyes of society.
The head of the Viciebsk regional REWU structure Georgi Razumov said that the city has already collected several hundred signatures and shared the information obtained during this time. Signatures will soon fall into Lukashenka's administration, the House of Representatives and the Council of Ministers, which may contribute to the abolition of the decree. Based on experience of meetings with citizens as a legitimate option for deferred payment, he proposed to challenge the payment of the tax referring to the statement in the first inspection area on taxes and duties, and then to the regional inspection and further to the MHC. Vladimir Alekseenko, representative of the United Civil Party, was of the opinion that the public reception needs professional legal services that help will be more professional. However, in no case can also refuse to help the party and trade union activists.
As a result of discussions, it was a joint decision to combine the efforts of all the participants and to provide legal advice to citizens who have received the so-called "chain letters" and willing to defend their rights by all possible legal means. To this end, on the basis of office of three political parties (AGP, BPF and "Fair World") is supposed to open public reception, as well as a consultant to use a professional lawyer.
