February 19 territorial election commission Vitebsk considered contenders for the 83 statements mandate candidate Vitebsk City Council of Deputies. For the twelve representatives of opposition political structures and independent local politicians of the nomination results were negative.
So, withdrew from the race elders of local politics: a member of the organizing committee of the Social Democratic Party "Narodnaja Hramada" Alexei Gavrutikov and BPF members Christopher Zhelyapau. Also behind the electoral process have been head of the regional organization of BCD Tatiana Seviarynets, regional leader of “Havary praudu” Lydia Sagidulina and activist Alexander Mikulin. All of them were nominated by petition, and the Electoral Commission has identified the signature lists of invalid signatures opposition voters.
Human rights activist Paul Levinau lacked only one signature to become a candidate. In addition, not all clean, according to the city election commission Lyavinau have been provided with personal data. Here disservice Paul Isaakovich concelebrated the fact that information about themselves, he mentioned representation of human rights organization "Belarusian Helsinki Committee" in the Vitebsk region. According to the same data, the election commission received from government - representation of BHC in Vitebsk region does not exist.
The remaining six civil and party activists were also denied registration as candidates or because of improperly collected signatures, either because of inaccurate personal data or data filed tax returns.
No problems were registered as candidates for representatives of the party "Fair World". This is probably due to the fact that they are not nominated by petition and by the decision of the Party Congress.
The party of Gaiduchevichs, "Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus", also did not have problems with the registration of their candidates, as no representative of the party did not run for the City Council of Deputies.
