September 17th human rights activist Peter Ivanov visited Dr. Igor Postnov in Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center of Psychiatry and Addiction, where he is forced treatment. Mr. Ivanov said that on the eve of his visit to the clinic a meeting of medical advisory board, which reduced the disgraced doctor dose neuroleptics. According to the conclusion of the commission, soon Igor Postnov can be transferred to a day hospital.

According to the activist, Igor Postnov has no complaints about the conditions of his detention in hospital. However, he still thinks of him made the lawless violence of his public statements and requests to subject these statements expertise.

Postnov claims that his "imprisonment for involuntary treatment in the dungeons of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Centre of Psychiatry and Addiction" violated his rights. While in captivity, Igor Postnov unable to defend himself, so he designed a power of attorney in the name of Peter Ivanov, the latter carried to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests in the state bodies of Belarus and international organizations.
