The former chairman of the Vorša District Executive Committee, Leonid Penkovsky, returned to the Biešankovičy District. He now manages the agricultural enterprise – CJSC "ASB – Agro Innovator". The website of the administration of Biešankovičy district informs about this.

The President of the country appointed Leonid Penkovsky to the post of chairman of the Vorša Executive Committee on May 12, 2017. A 10 days later, Alexander Lukashenko instructed the head of the SC to figure out why the siloviki break into the house.

"Who gave the right to a man, agreed to the appointment of the president, break into the house? After all, in order for law enforcement agencies to even conduct any investigations on a person entering the presidential staff list, the consent of the president is necessary, "Alexander Lukashenko complained.

Later in the presidential administration told the circumstances of the incident: "The incident occurred last week. As follows from the explanations of the chairman of the district executive committee (Leonid Penkovsky), because of being in a painful state for some time, he did not get in touch. Representatives of law enforcement agencies entered the house where Leonid Penkovsky was located, in order to establish his whereabouts. The chairman of the district executive committee at that time was at the place of residence of relatives in the city of Vorša, "the administration said.

Leonid Penkovsky worked as the chairman of the Vorša District Executive Committee for less than three months. His new appointment was not reported. Now it became known that he heads the CJSC "ASB – Agro Innovator" in the Biešankovičy district, where he came to the chair of the Vorša mayor.

Alexander Poznyak, who came to replace Penkovsky, is also a former head of the Vorša district, he was removed from office at the direction of the president.

"Poznyak – send in resignation and find him another job," – demanded the head of state on August 14 during a meeting on the integrated development of the Vorša district. The President was dissatisfied with the progress of his instructions on the development of the city and the district.

Igor Isachenko is currently working on the development of the Vorša region. Prior to this, he served as chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Viciebsk Oblast Executive Committee.
