The judge of the Oktyabrsky district court of Viciebsk Vladimir Tsarikov recognized picketing conducted July 27 in front of the amphitheater candidates Tatiana Sevyarynets, George Stankevich Elena and Shabunya, unauthorized mass event.

As we reported earlier, the trial of the administrative case against opposition candidates began on September 22 but was put on hold. Now it became clear that the transfer of business on September 26 the court needed to somehow argue sentencing for harmless singing two songs with a guitar during the collection of signatures in places not prohibited for picketing.

Indications subpoenaed compiler police captain Sergei Veraksa protocol and have become an essential argument. After reviewing the video, the court concluded that the purpose of the picketing with the performance of two songs in front of the amphitheater were different from the purposes for collecting signatures. The judge emphasized that the candidates at the time were not in possession of the signature sheets.

Explanations Elena Shabunya that simultaneously keep a flag or a guitar and with petitions is physically impossible, the court heard. Actors tried to prove that at the time of singing petitions were close – they were in the bag, which was lying at the bottom next to the performers and is clearly visible in the video. Court ruling: "Tatiana Sevyarynets, Elena Shabunya, George Stankevich found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 1 of Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code, and award a penalty of five basic units, that is one hundred and five rubles."
