The district committee of the Viciebsk-Railway constituency №19 print and distribute leaflets and posters with false information, discrediting the candidate from the Belarusian Left Party “Fair World”, a retired lieutenant colonel Vadim Kuzmin.

Vadim Kuzmin believes that this is no accident: the government struck a chord of his scandalous speech on television with sharp criticism of the policy pursued by the state.

The final text on general leaflets and posters, which are published for information of voters, usually coordinated with the candidates. But this time, the chairman of the district commission did not deign to agree on the text, even on the phone.

Says Vadim Kuzmin:

– From my past experience I can say that information to the Commission criteria for selecting the final text of the poster is quite strange. For example, in the last election, in which I also participated, I was told that the information that I am the liquidator of the Chernobyl accident, they cannot publish. In fact, the final version of the text of leaflets and posters taken in a close circle.

Dissemination of information about my criminal record was the case in previous elections. Then they wrote about it in the newspaper. We went to court and made to me through the newspaper apologized. And now about the criminal records and written on posters hung throughout the city. Even if my statements to the prosecutor and the Regional Electoral Commission will conceive action, then at whose expense will be corrected all, who is responsible for filing knowingly false information?

The most important thing – a criminal record repaid. I'll tell you what really happened and that it was for robbery. Having lived with his wife of ten years, we decided to divorce. Even before the divorce, I went to her apartment in her absence and took their belongings, which she gave. My wife took advantage of his official position (she worked in the Ministry of Taxes and Duties) – called the right place, and I have closed for three months in jail. So we have an administrative case can easily be converted into a criminal. And on the court, I could not prove anything.

I will demand a public apology from the chairman of the district commission, removal of leaflets and posters hung throughout the city, due to the publication of new election commission with information on repayment of previous convictions.

Certain bias sees Vadim Kuzmin and in the actions of employees of TV and radio company “Viciebsk” during the recording of his radio broadcasts. Initially, he was offered a record performance in the test mode. It turned out that the performance exceeds the time allowed for forty seconds. Candidate asked to correct and reduce the text.
