The newspaper of the Vitebsk region " Žyćcio Prydźvińnia" room for May 19, published an article by a certain H. Tirusovoy under the heading "...Where rattled fights." Activists initiative "Chajsy" believe that the emergence of this material – the reaction of the authorities in the area of a number of publications in the independent media, which have acquired a wide resonance of the mass grave in the forest.
Activists believe that under Chajsy they found the remains of the Belarusian citizens, repressed in 1930 by Stalin's executioners. Earlier, activists warned that the authorities will try to "turn public opinion in the usual hallway to her ideological "fascist terror'', and is now asking a rhetorical question: "If found burial of the remains of Soviet soldiers, why in the anniversary year of the Victory they are lying in the woods, like firewood ?".
Social activists say that the article is stitched with red thread. They argue that the published material has a rather patchy, a kind of set of text ideological stereotypes of all seen, the author is not primarily guided by their own experiences, passed through the heart and mind, and to perform certain ideological order.
Let's try to identify the main message that N. Tirusova sought to convey to the reader. There unaccounted military and civil burials, which from time to time someone stumbles. There are special military units that are engaged in search and burial of the remains found. There is a "black diggers" who violate Article 19.7 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus for its actions may be fined. There is power, which in these cases acts solely in accordance with the law. Finally, there is some unnamed "people of Vitebsk", "Internet publication" and the network in general, where from time to time there is information that is straining government and competent authorities, distracting them from the pressing affairs.
Taking into account the volume and semantic richness of material on each of the above designated parties, at first glance it may seem that the article is aimed at the termination of the "black diggers" who for some reason, in contrast to the public, local authorities and specialized military units, aware of unaccounted mass graves on the territory of Vitebsk region.
However, if the analysis of the text to be more careful, then, of course, the focus will be secondary. First of all the author seeks to convince familiar with the essence of the case of citizens that have been found dumping can in no way belong to the pre-war period. To this end, a number of views is quite reputable in the area of people who must convince the public that the graves are found or the Soviet military, or the victim of the fascist camp, located in the village Luzhesno. But the thing that made versions are hypothetical in nature and do not have compelling evidence.
In particular, with regard to information received from local historian M. Brewer, it is, in general, looks like the author's manipulation, far-fetched to the topic of illegal excavations, as relates to the area of the village Luzhesno, but not to the woodland beyond Chajsy about than the author writes: "...the mass graves of people shot near the village. Luzhesno, which during the war was a camp." By the way, there, in the area of Warm woods, the burial place of the cross is consecrated by a priest of the Orthodox Church.
It does not stand up to criticism and argument, based on the words of L. Tyuleneva transmitting memories of his mother. After all, if the author were consistent, then denying in one place to become truthful testimony about the five children buried near Chajsy repressed citizens would not take into account the testimony of L. Tyuleneva also dividing the information received from a man who is older than her.
Incorrect version is presented and veteran Nikolai Ivanov. He argues that the guerrillas and the military kept the defense on the road Vitebsk town, "between the villages Luzhesno and Chajsy," but found the burial are on the other side – a few kilometers from Chajsy in the direction of town. What need was there to bury them? In addition, the excavated pits found fragments of civil shoes that belonged to a woman, or even teens and was made before 1937.
Much confusion and the front line in the area where Chajsy was not, though, preparing for defense, the Germans had built and there are numerous fortifications. This local resident told Valentine Shageeva that during the war in Luzhesno visited the camp and the camp "Fifth Regiment". She voiced the fact that during the war (and she lived in Chajsy up to the advance of the Red Army), no mass destruction of civilians and prisoners of war were not. But on the night of pre-war executions in the village we spoke not only adults but also children, who as a consequence of their children's curiosity to know sometimes more than their parents.
And, most importantly, what not to say N. Tirusova – two turtles taken for examination can clearly see the familiar handwriting of knowledgeable people of the NKVD – shot in the head. The Germans thus people were not shot.
In general, however, in its quest to make the substitution of the author loses common sense. According to her logic, it turns out that seventy years no one knew about the burial of war who died not in 1941, during the retreat, and in the end of 1943. For decades in the Vitebsk region about them no one remembered, not to mention the monument, which must be installed at least on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Victory. After all, there are not five or ten people, and a lot more. The remains of the victims or the victims, if they were prisoners of the camp turned out to be unnecessary or village council or executive committee, nor the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, nor journalists, nor the public area, and at least since 1986 (according to the testimony of a resident of Luzhesno Sergei Kudinov – in the same year, his brother said the find to the village council) fragments of human skeletons were lying in the woods. Then it turns out that all these lofty words, the author said, not only about her victory is a lie?
Note the one bright feature: the text printed in rayonke, never used the word "repressed". So, apparently, all this chatter related to the victims of the war, only needed to hide all kinds of memories of pre-war atrocities of the Soviet regime?
