International human rights organization Sivil Rights Defenders out an action "Send a message to Ales Bialiatski until July 12."

Ales Bialiatski, chairman of the human rights organization "Viasna", held since Aug. 4, 2011. In November 2011 he was sentenced to four and a half years' imprisonment with confiscation of property for alleged tax evasion. Sentence without a doubt related to the human rights work of Ales Bialiatski in Belarus.

Communication with the outside world means a lot to the human rights activist. Send a letter of support to Ales - show that you are partial and help him not to lose heart!

Sign this petition until July 12, to add your name to the letter. Civil Rights Defenders will send the petition to him by mail at the end of July.

Comment Ales Bialiatski relatively similar attention shows his good and modest:

"Such international support confuses me, I think I do not deserve this. Only thing that calms me - that these people do not just support me personally, but express their protest against the systematic violation of human rights. This is a simple and clear message to all Belarusians".

Ales Bialiatski was twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his courageous and consistent actions in the field of human rights have won numerous international awards.
