The initiative group of presidential contenders from the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Sergei Haidukevich already collected necessary for registration of a hundred thousand signatures of voters, this "Viciebsk spring," said the leader of the regional branch of the Liberal Democratic Party Sergei Yarmykin.

Sergey, please inform our readers how many managed to collect signatures of the members of your initiative group at the moment.

The campaign to collect signatures in full swing. Our regional initiative group is quite large – 650 people. Today the Viciebsk region collected more than 14,000 signatures. We assume in the end to pass, as planned, about 30 thousand signatures.

Today, we also have four people who have come close to the limit of a thousand signatures. The bulk collects from fifty to three hundred.

Say, it looks like this company the Viciebsk region compared to other regions of the country?

Of course, the leaders of Minsk, but in comparison with other regions, we look good. There are regions, where they gathered more there, where – less: Brest, Grodno. We are also hard for the collection of signatures in the areas of: Dubroŭna, Sianno, Tałačyn, Biešankovičy, Šumilina. Few. Few. Something, of course, we will gather there, but ... Połacak, Navapołacak and goes hard.

And do you see the reasons for this situation?

The reason is that people are tired. Many simply do not want to sign at all, regardless of a person, others support the existing president.

In this case, name the places where dealing with the collection of signatures is better.

Viciebsk, of course, in the lead. Also in Vorša well collected. Vorša and Vorša district very well add to the total. I myself have visited the region and studied the reasons for the success. The fact that they have a lot of work with labor groups. After work and during lunch time with the permission of our volunteers come to the workers and those without problems of their own accord take the passport and put a signature. I'll tell you, the executive is no obstacle we cannot create.

And could you identify who is the main subscriber of your nominee in the door-bypass?

When collecting signatures door-basic subscribers are elderly people – in most cases they sign. Many of them already know Sergey Haidukevich, explains a lot, who is, why should sign up for it and why the alternative elections. Young people rarely signed, and if signed, signed mostly unconsciously.

Share why you do not use this form of collecting signatures as a picket?

From pickets of Viciebsk region and we refused. After all, it is not effective. In the early days, I personally watched the pickets organized in the city. At one point he stood for three hours, the second – two hours, and I realized that it was useless. And I do not believe that members of other action groups say that one day they manage to gather thirty or sixty signatures. Here's a concrete example: a member of our party, which runs on Chernyahovka in the bank, with his own eyes that the collector of signatures for one of the candidates for the day had only four signatures. By the way, I know that for some of the candidates, even the volunteers come from Minsk, as there is no one on site to collect. We have no such practice.

As far as the identity of Sergei Haidukevich is informative to the electorate?

He comes to us from the correspondent of "Sovetskaya Belorussia". He says: I want to walk with your volunteer. Perhaps she, too, asked the same question. We went into the apartment, the woman opened our elderly pensioner. He said: "Come in, please. We were offered tea. Yes, I know who Gaydukevich, watching TV. Let me you sign it. No problem.

Will Gaydukevich as other candidates in the near future to visit Viciebsk their potential supporters?

Visit Viciebsk and other major cities of Belarus Sergei Gaydukevich is not going to. At this stage it is not expedient. Registration will then – always.

As I see it, you have no doubt that your candidate will be registered.

I think the problem with the registration, we will not: Today in the republic a hundred thousand signatures we have collected. To touch too much and reach some kind of pre-set straps makes no sense. What for? There is a certain figure, and that is enough. No, of course, some margin of 10-20 thousand signatures we will do in case. That's all. Yes, and collect one hundred thousand signatures – it's not easy. To claim otherwise can only one who never let them collect. A hundred thousand – it's not so little. To collect them, it is necessary to get around a hundred thousand people, and many times more. In addition, people need to talk. This whole saga. Therefore, we will wait for registration, after which the start milestone.
